You can connect SkimmerMotion directly to a suction port or to your wall Skimmer.
It will NOT move around since the movement is provided by the bottom suction cleaner.
It will float freely over the pool surface and is a good solution for pool in areas of high evaporation, since it will float in any level of water.
In additional to SkimmerMotion you'll need to buy the Cap adaptor, and 2 Hoses. Our Cap Adapter comes with the instructions.
Attached is a picture and instruction for the cap adapter. If you need to connect it to the bottom of the wall Skimmer basket, please consult your nearly pool store for proper connector. (Below is a video as example, some system required and adapter to connect the hose to the hole inside the wall Skimmer.
